AstaSUN contains the powerful natural antioxidant Astaxanthin, shown to be
* 550 times stronger than vitamin E
* 10 times stronger than beta-carotene & lutein
Astaxanthin (pronounced Asta-Zan-Thin) is a carotenoid, which means it is from the same family of natural compounds that give fruits and vegetables their orange, yellow & red colours. It is the same compound responsible for the pink colour of salmon, trout & shrimp.
AstaSUN contains Astaxanthin produced from the red microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis to protect itself from UV damage when exposed to intense sunlight.
Research shows that Astaxanthin is effective at improving tolerance to UV light, decreasing sensitivity to the sun and reducing sunburn. In addition, Astaxanthin helps the body neutralise the damaging free radicals produced by UV radiation which can cause premature ageing & skin cancer.
If you're going to be out in the sun, using both parts of the 'inside/out' AstaSUN Skin Support System by taking one AstaSUN Tablet a day and following up with the After Sun Cream, increases the level of skin support - helping your body to tackle the rays not blocked by your sunscreen.
Each tablet contains 4mg of actual astaxanthin
The cream is free from parabens and dimethicone

INGREDIENTS:
Bulking Agent: Di-Basic Calcium Phosphate, Astaxanthin Complex, Bulking Agent: Maltodextrin, Modified Starch, Anti Caking Agent: Magnesium Stearate, Coating: Potassium Aluminium Silicate (E555), Iron Oxide (E172), Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Acetylated Monoglycerides
Each tablet provides on average 4mg Astaxanthin
DIRECTIONS:
Take one tablet a day starting two weeks prior to sun exposure & throughout the period of sun exposure.
Use with AstaSUN After Sun Cream as part of the complete AstaSUN Skin Support System

INGREDIENTS Aqua (Deionised Water), Monopropylene Glycol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate, Ceteareth-20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Parfum, Cera Alba, Diethylhexyl Syringlidene Malonate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Astaxanthin Complex
DIRECTIONS: Use every day following sun exposure, ideally after bathing or showering. Apply liberally and massage in until absorbed.
Use with AstaSUN tablets as part of the complete AstaSUN Skin Support System
No Animal Ingredients. This finished product has not been tested on animals.
